 Muhammad Jarir Kanji  thanks for the question, I'll actually answer here. We are currently building out a new input cells feature, which will unlock much of the same functionality as ipywidgets do. It's still in testing - I've flipped the feature flag for you so feel free to play around with it in Deepnote and share your feedback!

I'm well aware that there are use cases where ipywidgets not being supported is a pain. I believe  Jakub Žitný  is thinking about adding basic read support shortly, I'll let him share more.
